Overwhelmed to Overbooked
This is the freelancing course that started it all for me. I was on the fence about purchasing this for months before I finally decided to give it a go. I even email Micala Quinn a few times to ask questions. She was amazingly helpful. She honestly wanted me to feel confident in my decision rather than just pushing me to buy her course.
I’m so glad I did because two days after starting the course I had my first discovery call and I was in communication with another possible client by email. This is after 2 days of implementing her strategies! The course is absolutely worth it.
If you don’t believe me, just ask any one of the thousands of women in the The Live Free Podcast Mastermind Facebook Group. They’ll tell you. The Overwhelmed to Overbooked Course is definitely worth it if you want to become a freelancer. Even if you aren’t sure yet, you should still go check out the Brainstorming Guide to see what it’s all about.
I fought long and hard with the idea of purchasing a theme as a new blogger. I didn’t want to waste the money if I could get something nearly as good for free. Nope, those free themes are not anywhere near as good.
I am running the Extra Theme by Elegant Themes (the creators of Divi) on my primary site. This site, I decided to do things a little different and experiment with another builder, but I’m still a huge fan of Extra’s ease of use though.
I strongly suggest Siteground for a hosting company for beginning bloggers. Their customer service is amazing and I have NEVER had any trouble getting my sites up and running. I’ve heard too many horror stories about other hosting companies to ever consider switching hosts. Siteground is definitely where to begin.
As a freelancer, a good client management system is vital for success. I have used a few different systems, but none that can top Dubsado. Sign up today for a FREE trial to test out all that Dubsado has to offer. And if you end up liking it and use the referral code “Mallory”, then you’ll get 20% off your first month. Pretty cool, right?
I’m happy to chat about any of these products and services. Like I said, I use all of these myself and will never recommend something that I don’t fully believe in. If you want more information, I’m happy to help.
